Phoenix just now got 4th...

Boston gets #1. Fakers never goes #1--The only damn good thing out of this. Very likely get Alonzo Ball

Remember we talked about Paul Millsap possibly coming to Phoenix last year? Now we get to do it again:
https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2...-offseason-nba

Even better how about getting Kristaps Porzingis, who clearly doesn't want to return to the New York dysfunction? But definitely not at the expense of Devin Booker! He's untouchable and basically a potentially great player the Suns can build around:
http://valleyofthesuns.com/2017/06/2...trade-for-him/

And there's the Blake Griffin rumour. Like Blake a lot. Plays for LA's REAL pro basketball team, now and forever. He likes Phoenix. But, unless there's some vets already in place for such a young team to learn from, he doesn't quite fit into the rebuilding plans. His injury history are a potential problem too. DeAndre Jordan is another possibility. But his well-chronicled free throw shooting woes...If we send away Tyson Chandler and get Miami's lottery pick, OK. But Phoenix, you gotta cool down.

I share Tim Holstad's position with Phoenix staying the course by building and learning with youth. Don't get it wrong. I would like a nice deep Western Conference playoff run and have great teams again with championship titles, absolutely. Not at the expense of stunting young players' growth. We must know that Golden St. will not relinquish the Western Conference crown anytime soon for several years with several of their principal players now in their prime. If we can succeed into the NBA playoffs while our nasty, hateful, vile, odious, narcisstic, low down and dirty historic oppressors stay right where they are now as we do it, all the better!

Many of us Suns fans, myself included, expect Eric Bledsoe to be outta here in Phoenix. Right now, ESPN's NBA sources say Phoenix and Denver are mulling over a draft night trade to send Bledsoe to Denver for Emmanuel Mundiay and Denver's #13 pick. Eric's is in his prime at age 28 improving with each passing season and deserves at least a playoff taste with the Denver Nuggets very much right there until the very end for the 8th and final West playoff spot with some exciting young players like Galinari, Murray, Jokic, Faried, and Hernangomez with veteran guidance Bledsoe brings. Just need to take it to the next level. Talks are fluid. Bledsoe has no upside anymore like with this year's Phoenix's lottery pick.

A growing sense here that Phoenix will select either Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox or Duke's Jayson Tatum from St. Louis. If the Bledsoe-Mundiay trade happens, we could see Tatum to join the Suns on such a very young team. Fox will respond to Phoenix's need for versatility, playmaking, energy, play at both ends at the floor, and defense to amply compliment Devin Booker at the backcourt. Plus, he's tall--and continue on the Kentucky Wildcats-Phoenix Suns pipeline. Florida St.'s Jonathan Issac addresses the Suns' need at forward. 2017 is actually a great year to have a lottery pick with players that can scream All-Star and superstar potential. Josh Jackson from Kansas provides some much needed athletic, speedy, intelligent defense on the unselfish two-way wing. With ruthless attitude. He's an awesome selection if Jackson happily falls Phoenix's way. Still, the Suns must ace this pick and perhaps trade for another in this the most important Phoenix Suns draft in recent memory.

Actually getting the #4 pick isn't as bad as you may think. Look at Kristaps Porzingis (coincidentally), Aaron Gordon, Cody Zeller, Dion Waiters, and Tristan Thompson.

Phoenix's Summer League team in Las Vegas will play against Sacramento, Dallas, and Houston all at the Thomas & Mack Center this July:

Yes, Josh Jackson is everything the Phoenix Suns and its fans need coming into next season to improve in every way! Five reasons why to be estatic. If Earl Watson and his coaching staff can get him to develop a really nice shooting stroke, even better! Even Sacramento knew the Suns were going to select him at #4, even more so with Jayson Tatum moving up a bit early for Boston to select him

Plus, we got a couple of steals in the second round in Devon Reed from Miami (FL) and Alec Peters from Valaparaiso.

Since we're entering PHX's big golden 5-0 next season that was officially marked on draft day. Time to take a look at a series of 50th anniversary logos they'll sport including a really nice one in Spanish. Could've been even better if it incorporates and get inspired by past and beloved jerseys and logos:
