With news that Tomlinson is out 4-6 weeks, let's cast our mind back to 12 months ago when she got injured....

Waves were 4-4 at the time of her injury, towards the end of November, and in the top-4.

They went 0-14 after that.

Should they be worried?

I think an injury to any key player is time to worry a bit also news of Lavey not getting game time over the weekend for the Opals due to soreness( hopefully not playing will result in her being ready next weekend WNBL. Tomlinson is a big loss no doubt but I think we are better prepared this time round with Burton( who has had a great Opals stint including a double double) and Mijovic has proven she can play as a starter, Samy offcourse is all over the floor this year and should pick up some of the front court load as well

What a night, I think we witnessed one of the worst losses in Lynx history last nigh. We did not lose by a lot and had our chances, it was the way in which we lost. Was Coach Stewart running any plays at all, if so it was not apparent and the offence soon became an uncontrolled mess. I must add nice shooting from Carly though and a well played game by the stars who got the much deserved win
