Do you think Larissa will sign Jacinta Kennedy?

The Jayco Dandenong Rangers are pleased to announce the signing of experienced duo, Jacinta Kennedy & Amelia Todhunter for the upcoming 2015/16 Wattle Valley WNBL season.

Kennedy, now 33, walked away from basketball at just 24 years of age after already winning three WNBL Championships (two with the Dandenong Rangers), claiming three club MVP awards (“04, “05 and “06) & was a members of the Opals squad who claimed Gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Kennedy returned to basketball in 2014 with the Dandenong Rangers in the SEABL competition and hasn’t appeared to miss a beat averaging 19.1ppg & 9.1rpg in 2015. With a wealth of knowledge & experience, Kennedy is sure to be a valuable addition to a young Jayco Rangers roster in 2015/16.

Todhunter originally started her WNBL journey with the Rangers in 2007/08, after 3 seasons with the Rangers she had stints with the Bulleen Boomers, West Coast Waves & Melbourne Boomers. Having now racked up over 100 WNBL career games Todhunter’s experience in the point guard position will be an invaluable support to young star Aimie Clydesdale as shecontinues to develop in 2015/16.
Although injury has interrupted Amelia’s 2015 SEABL season, she has been able to maintain a high standard of play while on court and has helped the Rangers reach the Conference Final averaging 11.9ppg, 4.5rpg & 2.9apg

It took me a few moments to remember who Jacinta was, didn't even realise she had started playing again.

All the best for Jacinta and her return to the WNBL.

She only played one season with the Capitals (her first season out of the AIS) but she made an immediate impression and quickly became a favourite.

It's nice to have her back. It's just a shame it's with Dandenong.

Nothing wrong with Dandy.

I wonder if they'll have the money to sign Jenna O'Hea? If they did they would be a real threat come finals.

I think they will need an Ohea to make finals, its going to be another great competitive season, every team has good players.
Top 4 is incredibly hard to pick again, you would expect only Townsville to be a certainty at this point...and maybe the Stars.

That's such a good topic. It deserves its own thread.
