Hey, just wanted to say great job yesterday reffing the 14 div 1 women. It was a tough and crucial game and I thought you both handled it well. To be honest wasn't looking forward to it as I have had some tough times at Bankstown especially on that small court.

All close and controversial calls were handled really well are weren't rushed.

Re: letting Geelong in before Newcastle - it's been my contention for a long time now, even when I was involved with them, that the Pirates should never have been admitted into the NBL in the first place. They were thrown together in no time at all and were grossly undercapitalised, and were never able to attract corporate sponsorship because the primary owner was about as popular in the Newcastle business community as, well, he was in the Canberra basketball community. Not to mention he was also doing stuff like this. Support-wise, they were basically a laughing stock after the 2-31 season, and it took a long time for that stigma to go away even after the team improved - by which time they'd run out of money.

Hey Skindog, can I just ask why you gave me a red card infraction for being off topic when Cussy did exactly the same thing in the post before mine?

I understand he posts alot more than I do but I have been on this forum just as long, if not longer as he has and know the rules and very rarely break them.
